Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you?
We’re at a NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR: 98 Santa Rosa Plaza, Santa Rosa, CA 95401, in the old Sears Auto Center at the Santa Rosa Plaza. Get driving directions.
What time do the haunted houses open?
The Blind Scream haunted houses open at 7:00pm. Be sure to check our calendar for the nights that we’re open, as well as closing times.
How long will it take to go through the haunted houses?
The time to get through each haunted house varies. It is recommended that you come early in the evening, as lines tend to be longer the later it gets.
Can my young child go through the Haunted houses?
Our goal is to scare you! This is not a haunt for the faint of heart. You will be scared. Often parents think that because a child has seen scary movies that they will be able to handle a live haunt. Our experience is that this is not the case. Actors give the same level of scare to all ages. Staff will have the right to remove a child at any time we feel that they are being traumatized. We do not give refunds if the child is asked to be removed, or can not make it all the way through.
Can I carry my child through the Haunted houses?
No, it is unsafe for our actors, your child and yourself.
We made it half way through, can we get a refund?
We do not have a refund policy. You have paid us to scare you. If you are so scared that you have to leave a haunt early and not go on then we have done our job.
If someone in our group is asked to leave, does everyone have to leave?
Yes. That will make sure you identify and corral the troublemakers in your group.
Can I come in costume?
Yes, but no masks. Wear something you feel is comfortable. We suggest only flats on the feet. No high heels.
We have a wheelchair. Can we still come?
We have worked hard to accommodate everyone, there might be some tricky areas to get around, but if you need any assistance, please ask any staff person, and we will be glad to help you.
What time do the Haunted houses really close?
The times posted indicate the time that the last ticket will be sold. If we sell you a ticket on-site you will be able to go through the haunt that night provided you get in line. The haunt will stay open until the line has been exhausted. It is possible on some nights that the line will be cut-off earlier than other nights. If you have purchased a ticket online, you can use it any day, if you show up after the line has been cut-off you will be turned away.
What if I buy a ticket online and show up and the line is closed?
You will be turned away and asked to return on another night. Your online ticket is good any day.
What if I lose my on-line ticket after I have printed it?
Refer to the purchase tickets page for details. You will be allowed to print a duplicate.
Do you take credit or debit cards?
We take credit cards for online ticket sales. At the door we take cash and have an ATM machine available that takes all credit and debit cards.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes! We sell tickets at the door. We take cash and have an ATM machine available that takes all credit and debit cards.
Can I drop my kids off and get them later?
The Blind Scream is not a babysitting service, the environment is intense and scary. Parents or guardians must accompany their children at all times while on the property. Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Are there restrooms available?

Do you close if it is raining?
The Blind Scream is an indoor experience; we are open rain or shine.
